Podcast strategy that builds authority, audience and pipeline

A podcast is one of the few formats that earns an hour of someone's undivided attention. It can position your leaders as experts, open doors to guests you want to know and fuel months of content. We help brands decide whether a podcast is right for them, design the show and build a distribution plan so the effort pays off.

The brief

Why podcasting matters

Many brand podcasts stall after a handful of episodes. The show has no clear angle, the guests are booked at random and nobody plans how people will find it. A strong podcast strategy fixes those problems before the first recording.

Podcasts now live as much on YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn as they do in audio apps. That makes video, clips and repurposing central to the plan. Done well, one recording becomes articles, social content, newsletter features, PR commentary and sales conversations.

What is in the file

What the podcasting file includes

  1. Show concept and positioning

The audience, angle, name and promise that make your show worth subscribing to.

  2. Format and production plan

Episode length, structure, hosts, recording setup, video requirements and production partners.

  3. Guest strategy

Target guest lists that build relationships with customers, partners and industry influencers.

  4. Distribution and growth

Platform setup, YouTube and short-form clip strategy, cross-promotion, newsletters and paid support.

  5. Repurposing system

How each episode becomes articles, social posts, email content, PR quotes and sales assets.

  6. Sponsorship and commercial model

Options for sponsorship, partnerships and lead generation where relevant.

  7. Measurement

Downloads and views, listener retention, audience quality and the business outcomes the show influences.

The method

How the assignment runs

  1. Stage 1

    Debrief

We agree what the podcast is for, who it should reach and how much time and budget is available.

  2. Stage 2

    Investigation

We review competing shows, audience habits and the guests and topics that will attract listeners.

  3. Stage 3

    The plan

You get the show concept, format, first-season plan, guest list, distribution plan and metrics.

  4. Stage 4

    Handover or hands-on

We brief your producer and hosts, or guide the launch and first season as an advisor.

Channel role

A distinct job in one plan

A podcast feeds almost every other channel. It gives content and social a steady supply of expert material, creates digital PR commentary, strengthens community with recurring voices and builds relationships that support sales. We design shows with that repurposing built in from day one.

AI search

GEO and AEO built in

Transcripts, show notes and video chapters turn spoken expertise into searchable text. Published well, they give search engines and AI assistants more evidence of your expertise and more passages to quote.

Questions

Podcasting FAQs

Should our brand start a podcast?

A podcast makes sense when you have a clear audience, a genuine point of view, people willing to host consistently and a plan for distribution. If those pieces are missing, a guest strategy on other shows may deliver more value first.

How long should a business podcast be?

There is no single right length. Most business shows sit between 20 and 45 minutes. What matters more is a consistent format, a strong opening and enough substance that listeners finish the episode.

Do podcasts need video now?

For most brands, yes. YouTube is a leading platform for podcast listening, and short video clips on TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn are often how new listeners discover a show. We plan audio and video together.

How do you measure podcast success?

Downloads and views matter, but so do listener retention, audience quality, guest relationships, content reuse and business outcomes such as enquiries, partnerships or pipeline influenced by the show.
